Meet our chief crafter
Maddie, our accomplished artisan, is a passionate creator with extensive knowledge in a range of crafts. You’ll usually find her working away on her next patchwork, quilting, or knitting project at our fabric shop in Ellington, creating stunning dolls houses and other intricate designs. She uses a variety of hand embroidery, including goldwork, stumpwork and silk shading, to name but a few, sharing her skill through demonstrative workshops or chats with our customers.

Time to Bee Crafty!
For well over 15 years, Maddie and the team have held monthly classes dedicated to teaching the art of crafting. With Beginner’s Crochet and foundation paper piercing, we cover a range of skills at varying levels, from beginner all the way through to advanced. Throughout your sessions with us, you’ll dedicate time to your individual piece whilst developing your skills and enjoying some good company, tea and nibbles!
As well as regular meets, such as our Stitched Up Saturdays and Sunday Sewing groups, we offer numerous day workshops, giving you the opportunity to explore a new hobby without the commitment. Novice or experienced artist, we welcome all creators to our workshops, and we can’t wait to see what you make!
